Organizational Description:
Cyrus Forum aids peaceful, durable transition to democracy in Iran through a multi-stakeholder collaborative process convening Iranian leaders with each other and with international experts,
lessons and best practices in priority sectors.
Our efforts will result in a Transition Toolkit with needs assessments, strategic plans, and policy frameworks to facilitate stable change from tyranny to liberty. In the longer term, we strive to become a think tank to foster Iran’s democratic development and economic growth. We are guided by the following objectives:
→ To prevent violence and instability upon overthrow or dissolution of the current regime
→ To ensure readiness for democratic transition and good governance
→ To establish policy groundwork for rehabilitation of all sectors of political, social, and economic life
